Shane Fairchild | Chief Accounting Officer

Shane Fairchild joined Price Edwards and Company as Chief Accounting Officer (CAO) in October 2023, bringing a strong background in public accounting. He's a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of Oklahoma and holds memberships with the Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Shane earned his BBA/MAcc degree in Accounting from the University of Oklahoma, giving him a solid foundation in financial principles.

In his role as CAO, Shane reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and is responsible for overseeing critical accounting functions of the organization. He plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of various functions, including reviewing workflows, maintaining internal controls, evaluating and implementing software, upholding corporate governance, and overseeing the financial responsibilities of Price Edwards and Company's corporate and office divisions.

Shane brings a wealth of experience from his time in public accounting, where he served as an Accounting Manager. During his tenure in public accounting, spanning several years, he provided audit services to a diverse portfolio of large public and private companies, with a primary focus on those in Oklahoma, Texas, and along the West Coast. 

Beyond his professional career, Shane is passionate about sharing his knowledge. He has served as a course facilitator for various accounting seminars and as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Oklahoma Price College of Business, where he has taught the Accounting Information Systems course to aspiring students in previous years.
