Major Tenant Leasing

Two recent leases have been signed with Tractor Supply Company for approximately 23,000 sq ft each in the cities of Skiatook and Sand Springs, Oklahoma.

The farm and ranch supply store is under construction in a portion of a former Wal-Mart at the intersection of Rodgers Boulevard and Lombard Lane in Skiatook, and on March 15th TSC opened in the Springs Village Shopping Center in Sand Springs, OK. Tractor Supply is a national retailer headquartered in Brentwood, Tennessee and has approximately 900 locations open nationally. Both leases were handled by Karleen Krywucki of Price Edwards. The Sand Springs building was represented by Monte Box Realty.

Price Edwards has completed another lease with Aaron Rents. The national retailer opened earlier in April in new construction adjacent to Shoe Department and Wal-Mart SuperCenter in Purcell, Oklahoma. This store is operated by a franchisee while most of the stores in the state are corporately owned. Aaron Rents, which is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, operates approximately 1650 stores nationally and Karleen Krywucki of Price Edwards has completed more than 25 leases and purchases in the state of Oklahoma for Aarons.

A new tenant to the fitness world in Oklahoma City, Planet Fitness opened up in 22,100 sq ft earlier this year in the Lakeshore Shopping Center at 4202 Northwest Expressway. With nearly 60 units open, this fitness facility is expanding rapidly primarily through franchise operators. Alaina McGlothin of CBRE represented the tenant and Karleen Krywucki of Price Edwards negotiated the lease on behalf of the owner of this Academy anchored shopping center.

CDN Investments, of Guthrie, Oklahoma, has closed on the purchase of a vacant outlot owned by Wal-Mart Realty in front of the Wal-Mart Super Center in Newcastle, Oklahoma. The tract is 0.67 acres, is commercially zoned and is intended to be developed for a dental office. Brice Semrad of Real Estate One handled the negotiations on behalf of the buyer and Karleen Krywucki of Price Edwards represented Wal-Mart.
