Allstate Insurance Leases 20,000 SF at Quail Springs Parkway Plaza
Allstate Insurance recently executed a lease for 19,775 square feet at 14000 Quail Springs Parkway Plaza for a June 1st occupancy. Founded in 1931 as part of Sears, Roebuck & Company, the company employs over 47,000 and is headquartered in Northbrook, Illinois. It is the second largest publicly held personal lines insurer in the United States. The new office will house the company’s legal, sales and claims management divisions for central Oklahoma. The new offices will allow Allstate to consolidate from three locations in the Oklahoma City area into one. The approximately 300,000 square foot building was constructed in the mid-1980’s as the original building in the now sprawling Quail Springs Office Park. Craig Tucker of Price Edwards & Company negotiated the lease on behalf of the landlord, Quail Springs Office, LLC.
Oilfield Service Property Sells for $1,750,000
9505 W. Reno Avenue has been purchased by Patwell Properties LLC for $1,750,000. Patwell specializes in wellhead manufacturing and repair for oil rigs. This oilfield service building is a unique offering to the Oklahoma City industrial market, as it is a 20,800 SF building situated on 4.18 acres with (2) 5-ton bridge cranes and (8) 2-ton jib cranes. This property was originally for lease only, but after further discussions, Danny Rivera with Price Edwards & Company was able to negotiate a sale.
Oklahoma Upfitters Leases 40,000 SF in OKC
Oklahoma Upfitters has leased 40,626 square feet of industrial space at 6408-6412 S. Eastern in Oklahoma City. Oklahoma Upfitters works with new car and truck dealers who supply vehicles for fleets operated by companies in this area. Prior to delivery to the customer, Upfitters will install specialty or custom equipment requested by the vehicle user such as trailer hitches and bumpers. OKC Public Schools Leases Space in Walnut Shopping Center
With the closing of Wright Career College in April of 2016, the vacant space in Walnut Square located in south Oklahoma City now offers hope for ambitious young students seeking a better tomorrow. Oklahoma City Public Schools leased this 29,025 square foot space in the Walnut Square Shopping Center with the intent providing a venue implementing the successful model of the Emerson Public School located at 7th and Walker for a broader base with convenient access. Dollar Tree Leases New Space in Del City
Dollar Tree agreed to terms on a new lease for 10,000 square feet at Del Crest Shops in Del City, Oklahoma. The new store should open in late summer early fall adjacent to the newly opened Save A Lot grocery store. Renovations on the shopping center, in partnership with the City of Del City, continue and leasing efforts should continue to thrive with the improvements.
